Teresa Gill, PT, DPT

Teresa graduated from University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology, and from University of Southern California with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She now works as a Physical Therapist on the Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Children's Hospital & Research Center at Oakland where she specializes in the recovery of children with severe neurologic, orthopedic and developmental impairments in an intensive therapy environment. Her primary patient load includes traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-brain tumor resection. She also works with patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Teresa has experience in various adult and pediatric settings, ranging from adult orthopedic clinics to early intervention pediatric settings. She speaks Spanish, is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, is trained in the use of TheraTogs and has a great deal of experience ordering and problem solving issues with pediatric mobility and seating equipment. She thinks of herself as “just a big kid” and truly enjoys being a part of her patient’s and their family’s lives.
